The Interior was hand built by David Earnshaw & Steven ‘Bob’ Oxley.

The building is after all a Portakabin and as such lends itself to limited design possibilities, so we extracted every square inch of possibility and moulded it into the amazingly unique Bar that it is today.

Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully run, Cock o’ the North provides an ambience second to none, the subdued lighting and measured sound system  reflects perfectly the well appointed beer.

Some 180 different beers rotate along 10 hand pumps on the polished granite bar, attention to detail belies the ordinary exterior, if you are expecting spittle and sawdust, you won’t find in this secret location or any National treasure!
